The current situation in Venezuela is turbulent and far from stable. The South American country with it’s big oil reserves is in political and economical crisis. As for now, president Maduro’s unstable regime is still standing after a failed coup attempt by opposition leader Juan Guaidó.

In this panel various experts will shine their light on the situation in Venezuela. How did it come this far? And what’s next for Venezuela?

With writer/poet Rachel Rumai, anthropologist at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Eva van Roekel and Edwin Koopman, who has been a Latin America reporter for Elsevier Magazine since 1999.
